PRINCE nos abandona...

Hace un par de días recibimos un gran mazazo a nivel musical. Prince, el apodado "Genio de Minneapolis", fallecía por motivos que, a día de hoy, aún no estan claras.

Con un estilo musical muy personal, tirando más hacia el pop que hacia el rock, en más de una ocasión se le había visto haciendo gala de su virtuosismo, en clave rockera, a las seis cuerdas.

Odiado y adorado por igual, hay que reconocer que era poseedor de un carisma y una personalidad que solo las grandes figuras musicales tienen.

Por el gran respeto y admiración que le teníamos, desde ROCKBUSTERS hemos querido rendirle un homenaje viendo qué temas de su discografía han aparecido en las películas que, en algún momento, nos han tenido pasmados delante de la pantalla (sea del tamaño que sea).
Ganador de siete Premios Grammy y cuatro MTV Video Music Awards, ganó un Óscar a la Mejor Canción por el tema "Purple Rain", del film homónimo de 1984, y el Globo de Oro a la Mejor Canción por "The Song Of The Heart", de la película Happy Feet (2006).

Desde nuestro humilde rinconcito del cine y la música, lamentamos muchísimo que el gran músico haya perdido la vida a tan temprana edad...
